After a much storied year-long hiatus on Rikers Island, Brand Nubian's Sadat X is back in the studio, in the game and is fully focused.

Cult 45 A&R Peter Agoston culled a fresh batch of brand new Sadat X recordings to return with a pair of classic X tracks as unique as his timeless voice. Wholly evident on these two Will Tell produced solo Sadat bangers: "The Okeedoke" find our artist tussling with the temptations and tribulations of the innerstate drug trade – while "Theatrics" takes a turn toward the contemplative nature.

These are songs only Sadat could pull off – meandering Jazz, Country & Western dance with tales of cooking crack and blue collar living.
